The stationary people phoned me today to confirm the numbers of the
inserts for the invitations and RSVP cards. Just in case. Could be
a bit of a disaster if they got the wordings the wrong way around. They
should be with us sometime next week. WooHoo!
Katherine and two of the bridesmaids popped along to the dress shop this
afternoon to get the bridesmaids fittings done - Katherine's dress still
isn't in apparently. The bridesmaids had taken the afternoon off and we
were all on our way to St. Albans for the weekend (posh black-tie dinner
thing), so it was a bit of a rush. They all came rushing into the house
with Katherine waving a mysterious bag with something in it. I'll have
to wait until the day to find out, obviously!

Florist - take 2
Date: 20-02-03
Katherine managed to pop along to the florist's stall during her lunchbreak
and apologised for the mix-up. No harm done. So, they've rearranged to meet
next Monday lunchtime, and the florist handed her a rough quote for all the
flowers we've talked about so far. Not bad. A little bit more than we'd
budgeted for, but it's not too bad.

Yay! The info booklet to go along with the invitations is finally finished.
We've done all the tweaking we can, so it's only spelling mistakes left now.
Katherine was meant to meet the florist at our church this evening, but there
was a bit of a break-down in communications - the florist thought it was a
6pm meet, whereas Katherine thought it was 6.30pm. They missed each other by
10 minutes apparently.

Banns (2)
Date: 17-02-03
Got round to filling in the banns form for my parish church (the one in the
village). Shame we won't be able to make it to the churh to hear them - we're
away for two of them and the other one is going to be read on Easter Sunday,
where we'll be at our church. Oh well.

Play things (updated)
Date: 16-02-03
Popped into Debenhams again this morning, on our way to church, to get that
kitchen knife set that didn't scan added to the list. After church, we popped
back to Debenhams, grabbed a scanner and added a few more things! It's quite
lucky it was quite busy when we wanted to hand the scanner back in as we
flicked through a mini-catalogue they had sitting on one of the desks.
There was a better set of kitchen knives in there to the ones we got them to
put on this morning, so we decided to change them.
We're going to have to wait until we get a proper catalogue in the post before
we decide what else to put on the list.
